Hi y’all!

Well, Oklahoma’s got a freshman team, more or less, they’ve got a learning curve to do. Wait another year or two, WG. Surprised that Okla. State is doing well in the rankings so far.

I think, Mike, I told ya once about a sis-in-law (PhD in psychology) who started out psycho-analyzing her relatives and I told her in no uncertain terms that I’m not your paying client, thank-you-veddy-much. This stalker is a hearing, you know this for sure? What in the hell is she doing in a deaf forum? I mean, I’ve followed this forum you’ve been posting articles in, Mike, but there is no indication as to whether this stalker is hearing or deaf. I guess I’m clueless as far as this part is concerned. Goodness, she comes off like a S-M dominatrix out to subdue her prey, lol.

Interesting reading! I almost majored in Psychology. (lol) And what I just read pretty much explains why some people are the way they are. Sounds familiar with what I’ve seen else where in the deaf blogosphere, and what I’ve seen in real life too. (not that deaf blogosphere isn’t real life, but….sigh) Thanks for sharing! And in regards to your stalker, yeah, that would explain that too.

That’s what I’ve observed as well of others who have studied in the field of psychology who seem to think they have a literary license to psycho-analyze everyone while at the same time think they’re immune to their own Ids and super-egos. Especially if a person is the number one poster, hearing and addicted to a deaf forum as way to somehow satisfy his/her own massive ID complex and needs.

“In a healthy person, according to Freud, the ego is the strongest so that it can satisfy the needs of the id, not upset the superego, and still take into consideration the reality of every situation. Not an easy job by any means, but if the id gets too strong, impulses and self gratification take over the person’s life. If the superego becomes to strong, the person would be driven by rigid morals, would be judgmental and unbending in his or her interactions with the world. You’ll learn how the ego maintains control as you continue to read.”
