Palin Blasts Obama: “Palling around with terrorists”!

Denver – Good afternoon, everybody! Sarah Palin is here in Colorado! She is 90 miles to the north of me! And I can still feel the well-heeled attacks from the woman from Alaska! Today, she accused Barack Obama of “palling around with terrorists.”

Evidently, because Obama palled around with Bill Ayers, a founding member of the Weather Underground – a group that claimed responsibility for terrorist attacks in the 1970’s in and around Washington, D.C. –  Palin told a group of donors at a private airport today, “Our opponent … is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough, that he’s palling around with terrorists who would target their own country.”

Right. And the reason for the attack (from CNN.com)?

Palin, Alaska’s governor, said that donors on a greeting line had encouraged her and McCain to get tougher on Obama. She said an aide then advised her, “Sarah, the gloves are off, the heels are on, go get to them.”

Soon, the Heel Underground will continue launching panty-hosed-themed attacks. Palin also had this to say about Obama:

“This is not a man who sees America as you see America and as I see America.”

I dunno. How do you see America relative to Palin’s view?

Gee. Things are getting weirder by the moment.

Fantabulous!

Laters.

desperate times..desperate measures

There are multitudes of documents and accounts that Obama had a professional relationship with Ayers and knew about his background as a radicalist who terrorized people with bombs during the 60s. Obama claims he didn’t “know” until…gasp…last year or so? He knew Ayers quite well for more than a decade.

Mike, what do you say about the latest news that says that McCain is losing in battle ground states?

I’ve also heard other stories about Ayers too which doesn’t put Obama in a bad light. Makes me wonder if we should believe anything we read?? Well, I knew I couldn’t rely on everything in the news……Still….kind of makes one wonders. What/who can you believe anymore?

I’ve done my own “polling”…asked family, friends, co-workers, etc. The most response I got were Obama and “I don’t know yet”

Not a reliable poll, I agreee. :)

Candy ..

To be fair to both Obama and McCain, I think the “polls” and reporter-pundits are doing nothing but speculating. Of course, we all saw what happened to the stock market, which is based on speculation itself.

There are polls for polls now, man.

Maybe I should set up a poll?

HaHa!

That’ll be the day.

Not to mention that polls are often conducted by the media who for the most part are biased towards the Democrats. ‘Remmy the Bush-Gore polls? Gore was given a bigger edge, and look who won the election…by a hair. ;)

Wouldn’t give the polls much weight in considering who to vote for.

Ann C, the same thing happened with Kerry vs Bush when exit polls gave Kerry 3% edge for a win over Bush but in the end it was Bush who ended up with almost 3% for the win.

What’s been talked about and the press discovered that some 5 to 7 million Hillary supporters back the McCain-Palin ticket out of the 18 million. That’s a sizeable shift right there.

Wonder what percentage of that 5 to 7 million Hilary supporters who are shifting to McCain-Palin ticket are women?

I know that given the race factor, Obama may have selected Biden as his veep because Biden is white. Had he selected Hilary instead, who not only is white but also a woman and a conservative, would he have attracted more conservatives among the women voters? Or would an inexperienced black man prez and an experienced white woman veep have put the Democrat ticket at a disadvantage?

Hilary would probably have upstaged Obama, and that is probably the likely reason he didn’t choose her. But voter-wise, it’s a gamble Obama took. We’ll see at election time whether his gamble proved right or wrong.

i think ann_c’s opinion abt obama’s choice of biden is spot on,this election seems to be one of major roulette playing!
