Cuil: Too Cool for Google?

Denver – Good morning, everybody! I hope your summer days have been going well. I caught Candy’s article about baseball and wanted to share something with all ya’ll: I am an expert pitcher! Batters are fearful of my wicked pitches! Nasty curveballs dupe swingers silly! And above all, I have a perfect pitching average – I always hit the batter!

I am not kidding you!

HaHa!

I’m just messin’ with all ya’ll. Can ya dig it, ya’know what I’m sayin’?

Anyway .. today, I want to talk about Cuil. It sounds like “cool”. I do not know if it is really “cool” but I guess Cuil is s’posed to be the new “cool” as in a “cool” word that says you are “cool” whilst I am outside, beaning batters left and right.

Cuil!

So, I checked out Cuil. And before I get to that, let me point out that Cuil has only recently begun operating online and probably will improve as time goes by. From what little I have seen with Cuil, the search engine results produced by Cuil are a bit different from Google’s, which may confuse some people on how to sort through the same results.

Still, Cuil is new and different, and if you’re bored with the dog days of summer (at least online), then check out Cuil and please let us know how it worked for you. I added Cuil to my FireFox and will use it side-by-side with Google for the next week to compare the search engines’ results and post the findings later this summer.

Anyway, I have to go now – I need to get to the Broadmoor Golf Course, site of the 2008 Senior Open – but the point of today’s article is that all ya’ll might want to check out Google’s latest competition. It just might be a new way to stay cool this summer.

Cuil.

Well, until “Cuil” becomes a verb then you’ll know it’s a popular search site. I don’t see people will say, “Did you Cuiled it?” vs “Did you Googled it?” Or “Did you try Cuiling it?” vs “Did you try Googling it?”

I rest my case.

:)

Welcome back, Paotie.

lol funny (MAC’s comment.)

Well, I really liked it!! It’s sooooo Cuil! I can see myself Cuiling it lots. I think Cuil would complement well with Google. Easy on the eyes too.

It beats checking out dog pile, tho.

HEY! Cubs is two games ahead!!! YES!

Just stopping by to say hello to you and MM. Been busy, but think about you two every now and then.

Oh Cuil!! I played with it and it is not as Cuil as I thought tho… So, I tried SearchMe.com and that was Cuil cuz I “found” things about things *Me* that I never found before! Hahaha!! Just kidding.

But do check out SearchMe.com, it is Mac-ish and Cuil-ish!

MM, you are funny!! That was Cuil what you said!

“let me point out that Cuil has only recently begun operating online and probably will improve as time goes by…” I hope better than DBC!! ;-) Hahahaha!! I’m bad, I’m bad! *playing in the tune of Micheal Jackson, Bad*
