In fact, one scientist had this to say about Deafhood leaders,”If you took the brains of Deafhood and put them into a chicken, it would fly awkwardly sideways forever and a day.”

How are all ya’ll this Friday? I hope you had a good week and are ready for the weekend.
I have to apologize for not posting today’s article sooner. I got caught up in other projects and by the time I was able to sit down and post today’s article, I already have to head out the door. Having a social life is not conducive to blogging, all ya’ll, but I intend to do it daily, so I am here today.
Okay .. instead of posting an article, I thought to repost a few articles that I’ve written over the past few months. I figured to give some of you newer readers something to read about because I am copping out, taking the easy way out. Whatever.

Like you, Paotie, do I miss New Mexico chilies. California Mex fare is wimpy, TexMex is a little dense, but New Mexico cuisine is the hottest and the naughtiest in the States, I swear by their chilies. I know, I spent my honeymoon in New Mexico and the native cuisine there will have steam coming out of the ears but oh, the flavors are ever so seductive.
Valerie, ya need cold tequila chased with lime/lemon or ice cold Dos Equis or Corona beer with New Mexico food. Milk or cream doesn’t have enough, eh, what is it? to cool the chilies down.

I have no life every other weekend because I work, and when I’m off midweek everyone else is working. SIGH! I am jealous of everyone who gets to bbq this weekend. Not that bbq’d veggie patties are all that tasty, but I do like the smell of bbq-ing and potato salad, and corn-on-the-cob, though it’s early for that yet.
Ann– Corona is a good beer. I like Mexican beer. Pacifico is good too. But my favorite kind of beer is Hefeweizen.

First time I tried cooking with Habanero chilis in early 1990’s when I was dating Brian who later became my husband. A disaster… I just chopped the peppers and tossed them into a hot pan of oil… explosion… smoke! Felt like mustard gas in the apartment… groan.

Deficit Thinkers… hahahahaha… it was so funny, seeing the Deafhood supporters gobbling up the new pills called “deficit thinking” and chasing after other deaf people, trying to convince them that the normal deaf people were deficit thinkers. Pfft.
