At the time I wrote the article, Minkow’s web site promoted anti-fraud efforts against certain churches. Since then, Minkow has become focused almost exclusively on USANA, as his site shows now.

I’m asking you what it was you read that caused you to find this figure of speech appropriate. What Christian church has Minkow negatively attacked/slandered etc which would make this figure of speech appropriate?

Is there something you’re not understanding? Why don’t you tell us what you don’t understand instead and perhaps we can see if a meeting of the minds can be made.

I like Paotie’s article “Barry Minkow and The White Don King”. It’s turning to be quite prophetic. The following has been posted elsewhere and is very interesting. Read on.

The court proceedings have hardly started but Barry Minkow, convicted fraud felon, has already managed to get himself in trouble during his latest encounter with the legal system.
Barry has just been ordered to pay $$$ THOUSANDS to repay ALL the fees and costs incurred by the Usana legal council in the prosecution of the motion to compel. The detailed statement of costs is available to view in the court records.
Not only Usana was recently awarded expedited discovery in spite of all of Minkow’s attempts to avoid it, in the short period of a few weeks Minkow managed to get himself sanctioned for UNRESPONSIVE, EVASIVE RESPONSES and failing to make all the required disclosures as ordered by the court. Now Barry has to answer all Usana’s interrogatories, produce all requested documents and also pay big bucks for trying to play cat and mouse game with the law. It looks like Barry has not learnt anything from his disgraceful past.

Tracy Coenen’s, Sequence Inc. also is a little bit Minkowish, in that she seems to delight in attacking companies with “perceived fraud”. What I find amazing, is that these people will go out with all horns a blazing and feed the press and anyone else who will listen about their new “Discovery”. They enjoy playing the role of prosecutor, judge and jury with the press before anyone else, especially the accused, has had an opportunity to respond to the allegations. You would never see an official government agency do that unless there was serious enough evidence to prove criminal wrong doing. Usually the accused are already charged at that point.

Tracy Coenen has a blog that has an “it’s all about me” persona, with so much arrogance. The blog is hardly open to freedom of speech, which is really what a blog should be; otherwise it becomes kind of bland and boring. As a chef, it would be like preparing, serving and eating roast beef and Yorkshire pudding for breakfast lunch and dinner every day of the week. No excitement and always one sided.

I saw a news show about a woman and man who lost their child at John Hopkins Hospital. They sued and won a huge settlement. She had every right to be angry at the hospital for the negligence. She could have taken that settlement and moved on, have another child and lived very well. But instead of doing that, she went back to them and said I want to work with you and make this hospital better. I will take my settlement and help make this a better and more compassionate hospital. What a noble and beautiful gesture of peace. This is obviously something tragic that turned into a wonderful legacy for their child. Something really good came of a tragedy.

The point I’m making is why Minkow ET all couldn’t have approached USANA about their perceived shortcomings. Instead of trying to maim and kill a company that overall has great products, employees (USANA employees around 1000 people), enthusiastic associates and preferred customers. Could Minkow have said “I want to help make USANA Health Sciences a better company?

What benefit does Minkow stand to gain putting a 1000 people out of work, destroying many of the hard working associates businesses and cutting off the supply of superior nutritionals’ that many people depend on? To me it makes no sense and from a humane perspective, very cruel and somewhat warped. It’s in the approach I find appalling. Minkow has not learned from his past and he’s gathering like minded people to his nest. It’s kind of scary and creepy. My daughter would say…”I’m not having him over to my place for dinner Dadda”. Children can be a great judge of character.
